Once upon a sketchbook...
Flora Mae could draw before she could really do much else, pencils and paper have simply always been part of her world. Now, she spends her days surrounded by a small army of plush animals and one very loyal dog named Moxie, dreaming up creatures to bring to life.
As a neurodiverse artist, drawing has been one of her favourite ways to explore and express the world around her. She's long been fascinated by animals, bugs and the natural world, many of her designs are inspired by real creatures she's discovered through documentaries or her own research into the weird and wonderful corners of the animal kingdom. Others come entirely from her imagination.
She's entirely self-taught, including teaching herself Procreate so she could bring her drawings to life digitally as well as on paper.
Every single design in this shop began life as an idea, sketched somewhere between homework and daydreaming, before becoming something you can actually wear.
